One of the  most coveted awards in the magic world called the “ Merlin Award’’ is  presented by International Magicians Association (IMS) USA, is given to a few outstanding magicians every year all over the world for their talent and contribution in the field of magic. The Merlin award is to Magic is what Oscars is to movies. Some of the  previous recipients of the Merlin Award include star Magicians  like David Copperfield, Pen and Teller, Cris Angels and PC Sorcor.

In 2015 September, Zenia was awarded the Merlin award by the founder and President of IMS, the largest magic society in the world,  Mr Tony Hassini who personally came to Mumbai from New York to present the award in a glittering event attended by family, friends, magicians and top dignitaries. 

​

The award was given to Zenia to under the title of “ Best Female Teenage Magician in India” Mr Tony Hassini was impressed that Zenia started magic at the tender age of 4 and made a steady progress each year and was an inspiration to youngsters in the field of magic. He therefore wanted to acknowledge her talent and also show to the world that India was emerging as a boiling pot of  young magical talent.
